Synthesis:
GHK-Cu synthesis usually involves two steps: first synthesizing GHK tripeptides, then binding to copper ions.
GHK tripeptide synthesis: The main methods are standard solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) or liquid-phase synthesis methods to synthesize GHK tripeptides. Both methods are mature peptide synthesis technologies.
Binding (complexation) with copper ions: The purified GHK tripeptide reacts with compounds containing copper ions (such as copper acetate, copper hydroxide, etc.) in solution. GHK tripeptides have a strong affinity for copper ions (Cu²⁺) and can spontaneously form stable GHK-Cu complexes. After the reaction is complete, purification is carried out through filtration, freeze-drying, and other methods.
